DINING BY DESIGN: THE SET-UP

The Architectural Digest Home Design Show has begun! Doors opened at 9 am on Thursday morning, so we spent all day Wednesday at Pier 92, setting up our "Moonlight Feast" dining room booth for Anthropologie. What an amazing experience it was to see my vision and sketches come to life at the hands of a team of incredibly talented builders, crafters, and stylists!

We'll be posting photos of the completed design, as well as other favorites from the show, but for now, here's a little behind-the-scenes sneak preview...

Our booth was bustling with activity all day long, as whimsical garden wallpaper was adhered, a repurposed-wood tree was constructed, and twinkle lights and garlands of recycled-bottle flowers were strung throughout the branches.

And then, of course, came my one of my favorite parts: the styling of the dining table. (Just wait until you see the decadent, colorful place settings and servingware I chose to work with!)

Have you purchased your tickets for the show yet? It runs through Sunday, March 22nd at Piers 92 & 94 in NYC, and the Dining By Design gala for DIFFA is on the evening of Monday, March 23rd. Even if you can't make it, be sure to follow along on my Instagram, where I'll be posting updates and favorites from the show.

A special shout out goes to Surface & Architecture Workshop who constructed the booth, pallet tree and did the paint finishes and Alyssa Leanne Hoppe and her team for their incredible recycled bottle flowers.
