One of the many perks of working in the design industry is that we're often informed about cool, new products and home decor items as soon as they come on the market. Here are some of our favorite finds from this past week...
The Diapositive Desk, designed by French brothers, Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec, for Glas Italia, comes in two sizes and is made up of "extralight, tempered, laminated, and thermo-wielded glass" walls and a wood desktop. I love that, even though this is a substantial (and very chic) piece of furniture, the glass panels keep it feeling light and airy. I definitely wouldn't mind working here at all!
MTI Baths and designer Matthew Quinn's new Continuum sink is semi-recessed and uses the cut-out from the countertop to form the bottom of the sink, creating the look of a seamless design where water seems to flow through the counter. This is a beautiful and innovative look for a modern bathroom (and a huge bonus not to lose any of the striations and markings in your natural stone counters!).
