I stumbled across the shop Little Cabari the other day and was immediately smitten with the beautiful color combos, illustrations and decor made for bright and happy kids' rooms. They are based in Paris but ship to the United States, so run to your wallet and get out that credit card!
Designed by two lovely young ladies who met while studying in Paris, the products are all made in Europe and are both whimsical and chic. Pretty much everything in the collection just screams happy to me and if I could, I might just buy everything in the line.
This dynamic duo gave us a sneak peek of their brand new pattern "Toile de Mere" and it is just oozing with seaside fun. With all the beach houses we're currently working on, we've looked at TONS of bedding for kids rooms, and this one has just jumped to the top of my list. I love how the pattern mixes sophistication and whimsy. And as you probably know, I'm a sucker for blue.
But Little Cabari doesn't just carry cool bedding and wallpaper. Their rug collection is pure genius. I've seen just about every animal rug out there, but these ones are truly special. Made of wool and eucalyptus (and, undoubtedly, lots of love), these creatures are special enough to move from a kiddo room to a living room.
We're crazy about patterns round here, and Little Cabari has created so many fresh-looking, sublimely colorful options. Most of them can be purchased as fabrics or wallpapers, so you can add a small dose of whimsy with a throw pillow or an upholstered bench or go all out and cover your walls in pattern.
Little Cabari also sells their amazing, minty pastel-hued illustrations (a nursery no brainer). For more illustrations, head to their site to download free printables that the kiddos can color and frame. They sure beat any coloring book pictures I've ever seen!
And if all of this wasn't enough, cribs and beds can rejoice, as they've got sleeping sacks and bedding to liven up sleeping areas.
Be sure to peruse their site (click on English at the top right to get all the details), and I'll continue to dream of the fun decorating schemes we can create with their pretty palettes and gorgeous illustrations.
Also, check back here in the next few days, as Little Cabari just sent over some pics from a special order they did for a little girl's room in Paris. Pale pinks and turquoise sing in this sweet space, and we're so excited to share it with you. Until then, enjoy these lovely July days!
