Often, when we begin working on a redesign for new clients, they point out a few pieces in their home that they would like to keep. A special antique dresser, expensive custom cabinetry, a dining room hutch passed down by a parent. Sometimes, these items have great bones and will still work well within the room. But, often, they need a little sprucing up and help transitioning to the new style of the space.
The easiest way to transform an older item, or even a new, inexpensive, and/or generic one, is with great knobs. They can make a bold statement (check out #2) or help update a classic piece (we love #3 for that). And little girls' dressers are made infinitely more fun with bow-shaped hardware (#11 is a current fave)!
